Whoa! Pilipinas!

Congrats to Cabring and Datu's Tribe on their successful album launching last Friday, at Bincoy's Bar, Kamuning Rd, QC.

While watching them, I again realized how important this album was and how significant the success of this album will be to Filipino musicians who want to make relevant and progressive art.

I told Bien Lumbera of the album and lent him my copy. He thought it was really good and considered asking a foundation named after him to help fund the album.

Here's a video post of Whoa! Pilipinas!, a manifesto of how grim realities are for the Philippines and the Filipino people.
